Student Health Insurance Benefits

Saint Louis University partners with Aetna Student Health to administer the SLU Student Health Insurance (UHP) plan for eligible SLU students and graduate assistants. Medical, prescription, vision and travel benefits are provided. The SLU Student Health Insurance plan is fully insured and compliant with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Low/zero cost care is available through an arrangement with the SLU Student Health Center. Collaboration with Aetna provides access to in-network providers throughout St. Louis and the United States.

SLU's student health insurance has no pre-existing condition exclusions and there are no waiting periods. Dependent coverage is also available for eligible participants. Premiums for dependent coverage will be billed to the primary member’s SLU student account.
