The Saint Louis University School for Science and Engineering offers several mentoring program opportunities for students. Through our mentoring programs, students can connect with peers, alumni, friends of the university and industry partners.

First Year Mentor Collective
SLU's First Year Mentor Collective Program enhances the student experience by linking students one-on-one with a peer mentor. Students are paired with someone invested in their success — a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Students will learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges, gain career advice and valuable insights, while mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.
Mentors: Sophomores, juniors, or seniors at SLU's School of Science and Engineering who have attended for at least one semester

- How do I balance the demands of school, responsibilities, and socializing?
- How can I set myself up for academic, social, and career success?
- How do I make connections with peers and professional contacts?

Boeing Engineering Mentoring Program
Through its mentoring at Saint Louis University, Boeing hopes to increase students’ exposure to its company culture and provide helpful advice and tools that will help them transition into their careers. Participating in this program will broaden students’ network and increase the possibility of them interning or working at Boeing.
- One-on-one meetings with Boeing engineers
- Advice and counseling from Boeing engineers
- Networking with Boeing engineers
- Interactive sessions on resume building, interview preparation, career planning, and internship success
This program is selective and mentee spots are limited. Students must complete an application in order to be considered for the program.

- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be enrolled in a Saint Louis University engineering program

Deloitte Mentoring Program
Through mentoring Saint Louis University students, Deloitte gives participants the opportunity to connect one-on-one with a Deloitte consultant, allowing aspiring professionals to gain valuable insight into the consulting industry, the clients they serve, and the qualities they seek in candidates.

This program is selective and mentee spots are limited. Students must complete an application in order to be considered for the program.
Applicants should:
- Be a high performing sophomore or junior
- Major in information technology management, analytics, enterprise systems, computer science, computer engineering, or other business or engineering majors with interest/aptitude in technology as demonstrate through technology minor, coursework, or work experience
- Have a willingness to develop professionally throughout the academic year

DLAMP (Deloitte Leadership, Allyship and Mentorship Program)
Through mentoring Saint Louis University students, Deloitte gives participants the opportunity to connect with consulting leaders through a cohort-driven mentorship program with a focus on building meaningful connections, developing leadership skills, and cultivating professional confidence.
- Network building with Deloitte leaders based on industry and functional interests
- Career coaching and exposure to opportunities in consulting
- Preparing and practicing for applications and interviews, including resume review and case practice
Students must complete an application in order to be considered for the program.
Applicants should:
- Be in their first, second or third year at SLU
- Be interested in connecting with passionate business leaders, learning about the consulting industry, and building relevant professional skills

Regional Business Council (RBC) Mentor Network
The Mentor Network pairs business and engineering students with executives of RBC companies and partner companies who share career experiences and provide students with practical knowledge and insight into opportunities that exist in St. Louis. Students are hand-selected by their schools based on criteria that includes academic performance, leadership outside the classroom and willingness to stay and work in St. Louis.

- Be enrolled in an engineering program at SLU
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
